Katherine Dittmann, MS, RD, has worked the full spectrum of eating disorder treatment facilities for nearly a decade and has a growing private practice. Her treatment approaches include intuitive eating, mindful eating, yoga therapy, and mindful self-compassion — with a heavy dose of solid nutrition education to counter mixed messages. Katherine is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and is working toward a 500-hour Mindfulness-Based Yoga Therapy certification with the Inner Door Center. She has also written several food-related and general interest articles for a local magazine and authored “Body awareness, eating attitudes, and spiritual beliefs of women practicing yoga” (Eating Disorders: The Journal of Treatment and Prevention, 2009). She is a trained Mindful Self-Compassion teacher and former restaurant chef.
